Terms of Use
1. Booking and Payment
Reservations must be made through our online platform only. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your observation slot.
2. Telescope Use
Usage begins at nautical twilight (45 minutes after sunset) and ends at nautical dawn (45 minutes before sunrise). Customers are responsible for proper telescope use and compliance with all safety rules. Sky Share Astro recommends that the customer be familiar with the telescope's control software before their session. Abusive or dangerous use will result in immediate session cancellation without refund.
3. Downloading Images
Overnight image downloads are prohibited to preserve bandwidth. Images will be delivered within 24 hours via secure platforms. Calibration images are included at no extra cost.
4. Weather Conditions
Clear skies for more than 50% of the night: full charge applies. Partly cloudy for more than 50% of the night: 50% refund with a credit note issued. Unfavorable conditions preventing full use: full credit note issued. No pro rata payment is available. Consultation of the video recording from the AllSky camera installed on site will be deemed authentic for any weather-related disputes.
5. Cancellations and Postponements
Cancellations 5 days or more before the session: full refund. Cancellations less than 5 days before: no refund. Postponements 2 days or more before the session: no additional charges. Postponements less than 2 days before: 50% penalty applied.
6. Intellectual Property
Images captured by customers from Sky Share Astro telescopes remain the mutual intellectual property of the customer and Sky Share Astro.
7. Modifications
Sky Share Astro reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via the website or by email.
